Teflon™ PTFE is a very good thermal insulator and has the highest chemical resistance of any plastic available today. It is impervious to most corrosive substances and can withstand up to 500 volts per mil and operate at temperatures up to 600 degrees F. Applications
Outdoor Power Equipment: New Process creates custom end fibres that are used in the motor shaft of leaf blowers and other outdoor power equipment to protect the motor from contaminants. In addition to leak protection, Teflon™ PTFE offers good vibrational and chemical resistance, both critical for motor applications.
Garden Sprayers and Sprinkler Systems: For garden sprayers and sprinkler systems, we fabricate custom nylon washers that are used in many industry-leading products. We carry a number of different nylon materials (Nylon 6, Nylon 6/6, Nylon MDS, Nylatron®, etc.) in a range of different colors.

Teflon™ PTFE washers are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.0002” to 0.125” and diameters ranging from 0.093” to 16”. We also produce Nylon washers with thicknesses from 0.010” to 0.125” and diameters from 0.093” to 16”.
